Pam Grames as president will be added to the bingo checking account and Matt Earhardt will be removed from the general checking account as he is the outgoing president.
Membership Drive- We did well despite not enough drivers and 60% of our routes not done due to not enough volunteers.
Advertising- We have been approved by the board for ten advertiser banners and so far have three people committed. This is a 4 year commitment with the fifth year being free.
Pull Tickets- Brent Johnston reported they just collected $7500 from the Wonder Bar and paid the Wonder Bar their portion of $1800.
Golf Outing- Saturday, July 21 27 teams confirmed as of now, $85 per team. John Lewis spent a lot of time finding a good price for steaks. Blue Ribbon catering will now be doing the sides as Bar North no longer caters. The price of steak went up but the price for the sides went down so we will be saving around $2 a plate.
Country Concert- An opportunity has been presented to the booster club to put on a country concert at the Huron County Fairgrounds on September 22, 2018. The artist would be Chris Lane iheart radio best new country artist. The cost would be $28,000. We would make money from ticket sales, parking, alcohol sales, and vendor rental space. We would need board approval to move forward with this opportunity. The max tickets we could sell would be 3000. Tickets would cost $25 per person. Nick Schnittker moved we move forward with the country concert if we get a $10,000 sponsor and we get school board approval. This is the first reading of this motion. Brent Johnston second the motion and the motion passed.
Meon Festival- The fire extinguishers are in the custodian’s office that will be needed for Melon Fest.
